How to Optimize Your CafeRadar Listing
Small changes to your listing that lead to more discovery, more check-ins, and better reviews.
Your Listing is Your Pitch
Every element of your CafeRadar listing affects whether a customer chooses you or scrolls past. Here is what to optimize.
Photos (The Most Important Thing)
Listings with 5+ photos get 3x more engagement. Prioritize:
- Your best latte art or signature drink
- Interior atmosphere (natural light, seating)
- Food items (close-up, well-lit)
- Exterior/storefront
- Your team in action
Photo tips: Natural light. Clean background. Shoot at a 45-degree angle for drinks. Landscape orientation works best on CafeRadar.
Description
Keep it under 200 words. Lead with what makes you different.
Bad: "We are a cafe located in the heart of the city offering a wide range of beverages and pastries in a cozy atmosphere."
Good: "Single-origin pour-overs and house-baked sourdough in a sun-filled corner of Gracia. We roast our own beans every Tuesday."
Categories and Amenities
Check every category and amenity that applies. Each one is a potential filter match. If you have WiFi, power outlets, and outdoor seating, check all three. Customers actively filter by these.
Operating Hours
Accurate hours prevent frustrated customers. Update them immediately when they change. If you close early on Sundays, reflect that. CafeRadar shows "Open now" badges, so wrong hours directly cost you walk-ins.
Enable Points
Opting into the points discount program adds a green "Points Accepted" badge to your listing. CafeRadar users who earn points actively seek out cafes that accept them. It is free to enable and brings in engaged, repeat visitors.
Respond to Reviews
Cafes that respond to reviews get higher visibility in search results. Even a simple "Thanks for visiting, glad you enjoyed it!" shows future customers you care.
Keep It Fresh
Update your listing seasonally. New photos, updated description for seasonal menu changes, fresh events. Active listings rank higher in CafeRadar search results.
