New Cafes & Openings

There's always something new brewing! Vancouver is welcoming five new restaurants this month, and we're keeping an eye on which ones might be coffee-centric (Daily Hive | Vancouver). In Edinburgh, a new bakery and cafe has opened, described as a "love letter" to the city (The Scotsman). Awards & Competitions

Big news for the specialty coffee world! The Specialty Coffee Association announced that World of Coffee and the World Roasters Championship will head to New Orleans in April 2027 (Barista Magazine, Sprudge). This is a huge event for coffee professionals and enthusiasts alike.

We're also seeing local recognition. In Dorset, UK, a cafe is being praised for its "exceptional" coffee and cakes (Bournemouth Echo).
