Your Privacy Matters
CafeRadar collects only the data needed to help you discover great coffee.
What We Collect
- Location: Only when you use the app (for nearby cafe discovery and check-in verification)
- Check-in history: Where and when you visited
- Reviews and photos: Content you choose to share
- CoffeeDNA preferences: Built from your activity
- Coffee scan data: Flavor notes extracted from coffee bag photos
AI Features
CafeRadar uses Google Gemini to power the AI Barista chat and coffee bag scanning. Before using these features, you will see a consent dialog explaining that your data is processed by a third-party AI service.
You can use CafeRadar without AI features. They are entirely optional.
Your Controls
- Delete check-in history: Settings > Privacy > Clear History
- Delete CoffeeDNA: Settings > Privacy > Reset CoffeeDNA
- Delete account: Settings > Delete Account (removes all data permanently)
- Export your data: Contact support to request a data export
No Cross-App Tracking
CafeRadar does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA). We do not track you across other apps or websites. Our analytics are first-party only.
